Introduction

Welcome to Trellis 2 ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website at trellis2.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Trellis 2 is a free online tool that provides:

  • AI Image to 3D Generation: Convert 2D images into textured 3D models using AI.
  • AI Image Editing (when enabled): Submit one or two images and a text prompt to generate one edited PNG.

The service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Trellis 2 only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
  • Upload an image unless you own it or have the rights and permission needed to use and edit it.
  • Use the service to create or distribute unlawful, non-consensual, or rights-infringing material.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-process images beyond normal usage.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
  • Use the service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain your rights to images you upload and generated outputs. We do not claim ownership of your images, edited images, or generated 3D models.
  • Our Service: The Trellis 2 website, its design, code, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • AI Models: Trellis 2 relies on third-party AI models hosted on Hugging Face. Each model is governed by its own terms and licence, which may differ between models and may change over time.
  • Trademarks & Affiliation: "TRELLIS" refers to Microsoft's open-source 3D generation research. Trellis 2 (trellis2.dev) is an independent website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft.

Privacy

The trellis2.dev website backend does not intentionally persist submitted images, image-editing prompts, or generated files. Processing occurs on Hugging Face infrastructure. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

AI Output and Content Review

AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for your intended use. The image-editing application does not add an application-level input, prompt, or output content-moderation filter. This does not permit unlawful use and does not override Hugging Face policies, applicable law, or third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing output before using or sharing it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • The AI processing results will meet your specific requirements.
  • The service will be available at all times (third-party AI models may experience downtime).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trellis 2 shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or images.
  • Inaccurate AI processing results.
  • Service downtime or interruptions.

Trellis 2 relies on third-party services including:

  • Hugging Face: AI model hosting and processing.
  • Cloudflare: Website hosting and CDN.
